Fire and Safety Management

Diploma in Fire and Safety Management

12 Months course

A Fireman is charged with duties ranging from saving lies to keeping firefighting equipment clean.Diploma in fire and safety management & measures to be incorporated to train candidate to gain knowledge about the preventive measures to be applied during the time of emergency.
Some common concept taught in Fire Security Classes includes:

  • 1 Fire Engineer Science
  • 2 Fire Prevention and Protection
  • 3 Fire Entinction Science
  • 4 Fire Administration and General
  • 5 Safety Management
  • 6 Safety Engineering
  • 7 Safety Rules and Regulation
  • 8 Loss control and Industrial Safety
  • 9 Practical Training
  • 10 Private Security

Eligibility

  • Passed 10th class examination
  • Physically Fit-A registered MBBS doctor must certify that the candidate is medically fit to undertake the course.
  • The minimum Physical requirements are: Height- 165cms Weight- 52kgs

Attendance & Training Timing

  • Total Training Hours will be 450 Hrs.
  • Weekly five days classes.
  • Special batches on weekends as per convenience.
  • 75% attendance of the total no of working days will be regarded as satisfactory. Student having less than 75% of the attendance will not be eligible for the final examination.

Certification

  • Candidate who have 40% marks secured in each paper shall be declared to have passed the examination .After the successful completion of the course & training the individual get certificate from BASP. Certificate of successful students will be provided by the Ministry of skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India

Sub Fire Officer

Certificate Course in Sub Fire Officer

9 Months Course

A sub Officer/Asstt.Station Fire Officer will initially posted as Duty shift Officer under a Regular Station fire Officer in charge of a Station. After gaining practical knowledge, he may be posted on shift duty in large Fire STations or given charge of smaller Station as Officer-in-charge. Later he will be deputed to BASP for Training as Station Fire Officer/Instructor and on return to parent office , he will be placed in full charge of a STation or posted in HEadquarters office to look after duties like Fire Prevention, Management of Operational fleet ,etc.

Certificate Course in Firefighting

6 Month course

A Fireman is charged with duties ranging from saving lies to keeping firefighting equipment clean. At a moment notice, a fireman must be ready to perform job functions such as rescuing people or animals from burning or collapsed building, fighting fires and providing emergency medical assistance.

Eligibility

  • Passed 10th class examination
  • Physically Fit-A registered MBBS doctor must certify that the candidate is medically fit to undertake the course.
  • The minimum Physical requirements are: Height- 165cms Weight- 52kgs

Attendance & Training Timing

  • Total Training Hours will be 300 Hrs.
  • Weekly five days classes.
  • Special batches on weekends as per convenience.
  • 75% attendance of the total no of working days will be regarded as satisfactory. Student having less than 75% of the attendance will not be eligible for the final examination.

Certification
